Lieux-dits d’origine

A "lieu-dit" is a named geographical area, often identified because of a particular topographical feature,
historical event, local tradition, or distinctive characteristic.

Lieu-dit Les Hauts Bourgeois The term bourgeois refers to an inhabitant of a town or village, historically associated with certain privileges.
The bourgeois formed a social class situated between the peasantry and the nobility.

Lieu-dit Les Blanches Vignes The name literally means "The White Vines" and refers to vineyards planted with white grape varieties.

Lieu-dit Les Lavats Derived from the deposits of stones and mud left by torrents or heavy water flows.

Lieu-dit Les Croix de Bas Refers to a crossroads or intersection of paths and roads. The term Bas ("lower") indicates its location below another area known as Les Croix.
